Ferrando strolls on board. Does he know any of the bridal party particularly well? Not at all! Is he here to participate in the age-old societal quid-pro-quo of 'commoner makes this party look even more well-attended and in exchange nobles provide the free catering'? Absolutely! He manages not to go straight for the chocolates or the booze and sniffs out the food forthwith.

Jan has one hand fussing with the skirts of her gown but her attention seems to be drinking in the ship, " This like the golden hart's secret barge bastard spawn, imagined as a boat." still rather stuck on the very unusual ship which has so generously been offered to host their wedding reception.

There is an aphorism that one need celebrate the happy things, because their arrival is so hard to predict.

In that sense, it's wholly predictable for Patrizio Pravus to attend, and joyfully so - resplendent in Pravusi blue-and-steel, the archduke of Setarco arrives with a beaming smile, and a guard that are remaining at a watchful distance as he's making himself acquainted with the surroundings, an approving nod as he's taking in a place with which he's clearly not well acquainted. "I would wonder what her highness would think, hearing you declaring it so," says he with a resonant laugh, even as he draws close to greet the bride with the press of his palm to his chest and the dip of his head. "My lady. You look gorgeous, and may the gods continue to smile upon you and your groom, not just today, but for a good deal of time to follow."

2 Saik Guard, Celina, a dutiful physician's assistant, Giancarlo, a cooper and prize-fighter arrive, following Medeia.

Arriving with her regular retinue, Cassiopeia is wearing a bright smile and is dressed traditionally to her homeland. The woman looks enthusiastic and also a bit heavier around the middle. There's a vibrancy about her, because it's the time to celebrate. Cassiopeia beams as she saunters in, looking for the couple in question. "Lord and Lady Malspero, congratulations!," the woman speaks warmly and full of energy. "It's such a wonderful occasion and I'm very happy for you. If there's anything me or my house can ever do to support you, please let me know. It's a joyous day and I'm so happy for you," very happy she's said it twice, very excited too, as per usual. Yet, still calm and relaxed in the way she presents herself. Then a pause, "I have sent a little gift over to your estate, it should arrive soon. I didn't think it suitable for the location," that's not strange. Cassiopeia says this very normal-like. The smile remains and she dips her head to the newly wed couple. "Thank you for letting me be part of your celebration."

Ian arrives silently, with whatever is the opposite of fanfare. His gaze is sharp as he scans the space, moving swiftly over the furniture, the people, the layout of the room, windows, entrances, exits. Some old habits die hard, especially when those habits involve paranoia long engrained by hard life experience.

There is a lot of food from fried boar strips to dainty chocolates piles all into a tower. Not much cake though. Theres wine and whiskey, brandy, port, ale and pretty much any drink anyone might be interested in. Music too.

Pasquale is hovering by Jan looking just a little shell shocked, and perhaps a little physically stiff, although he clearly dressed for the occasion. "I told Duarte that if the ship gets taken for a drunken joyride. He should bill Kennex." He inclines his head to Patrizio. "That means a lot Patrizio. Arch-duke." A small smile is offered to Cassiopeia. "There are some little puzzle box momentos if you wish to claim one."

Patrizio takes Malespero Kennex Wedding Puzzle Box from Malespero sigil engraved Maple Chest.

Jan bows, "Hello your grace." her eyes widen, "Oh gods, please don't tell her that, if I make her cry I'll feel worse than a barrel of kicked puppies." she reaches a hand over to gently rub Pasquale's back, "We can find somewhere to sit to greet guests if you'd like, love. Just say the word if you get tired of standing."

2 Telmarine Guards, Squall arrive, following Tesha.

Medeia appears rather suddenly in the midst of the party, all smiles and fancy dress. Immediately, she heads over to Pasquale and Jan, cooing over the bride's dress. "Jan! Look at you!" She curles the former-Kennex to admire it. "So lovely! And I already congratulated you and gave you gifts, but you know I'm just /so/ happy for you both, of course I am," she chatters at the pair. She offers them both a hug, then drifts off to find a strong drink - surely Duarte made sure there was whiskey on the ship? The lady gives a finger wave to Patrizio and and Cassiopeia, and a glance toward Ian serves as some sort of acknowledgement.

Medeia takes Malespero Kennex Wedding Puzzle Box from Malespero sigil engraved Maple Chest.

Ann takes Malespero Kennex Wedding Puzzle Box from Malespero sigil engraved Maple Chest.

Ian finds an out of the way corner to take up residence. He's here. Technically. That doesn't mean he's necessarily going to talk to anyone (he does nod to Medeia, though). He's moving with a remarkable amount of ease, given the fact that the deck of the ship is moving slightly; this would normally be a situation where he'd always be looking to have something close by to hang on to, but it doesn't seem to be a concern for him, just at the moment.

Ann climbs up onto the ship. Smiling at all that she knows here as she waits her turn to greet the newely wedded couple. A kiss to cheeks to Pasquale and a warm squeeze given to Jan's upper arm as she simply says, "Congratulations!" Then she will step back and let another take her place.

"It's my pleasure, my lord," answers Patrizio to Pasquale with that easy smile of his, and a press of his palm, the dip of his head, to the groom as well. Though there's a warm chuckle to Jan. "Please. We all know, besides, my invocation of her means that she's liable to appear, and I think she should take it as lovely compliment that you think to compare it to her Hart." He flashes a warm smile to Medeia when she's waving to him, before he's retreating a step or three, to allow others to come greet, and indeed as well for him to get a drink for himself.

There is some soft talking between a Lady Titania and Valencia as they arrive, she is letting Valencia hold onto the crook of her elbow as they arrive. She stops her soft words and looks around, her ocean blue eyes look around, "It seems we have arrived." she beams at her friend next to her, "Shall we?" she says as she moves to step in and further into the Casino. "I think this is the first time I have ever been here."

Pasquale nods to Ian as he sneaks off into a corner, offers Ann a little smile in thanks and then offers the same to Medeia. "I contemplated asking the Hart to host it actually but with both Kennex and Malespero sharing such a maritime tradition I decided a ship would be perfect." he looks to Jan. "I'm ok Jan. Tonight is your special day. You should enjoy yourself."

Paris, a charming mercenary arrives, following Apollo.

Jan bows again, "We're honored to have you, your grace." she blinks as Medeia zooms in and gives hugs and compliments. Chuckling lightly,"Thank you, my lady. Please do enjoy all that's on offer." Ian is spotted and given a small grin and wave. She makes no attempt to drag him into the thick of things but acknowledges his presence and her appreciation for it. She looks at Pasquale, "My special day? It's OUR special day and I intend to enjoy myself without abandoning my husband."

Ferrando having acquired himself a selection of meats and other comestibles takes his plate towards the periphery to continue letting the bigshots and other assembled nobles roll through the front of the well-wishing line. This means, more or less, that he's now standing next to Ian while snacking on dinner rolls. "Auspicious day for House Kennex," he observes sociably. "Good evening, Lord Ian."

Ian gives Ferrando a nod of greeting. "Evening." He is a scintillating conversationalist for our times, clearly.

Cassiopeia smiles at Pasquale when he mentions the puzzle boxes, "they are beautiful. What a lovely way to capture the occasion." Then she quietly excuses herself, so not to monopolize the newly wed couple's time. Cassiopeia's first destination is the snack table, to which she takes a plate and a bit of everything. Looking delighted by the selection, she begins to nibble and start to make her way around the room to meet people. Medeia's greeting is caught and she flashes a warm smile in the woman's direction, lifting her hand up to wave at her. It's holding a canape, but best efforts. Patrizio is met with a dip of her head, noticing him right off the bat. "Your Grace, delightful to see you on such a good occasion." Cassiopeia tan looks a little too good for Arx, so it's likely she was back in the Saffron recently. Valencia catches her attention and she bobs her head in the woman's direction. There are many more to say hello to, but she starts there, enjoying a moment to catch up with others.

Valencia drifts in at Titania's side, all smiles and happy nods to those she knows as they make their way inside. "We shall," the little vixen laughs as the begin to make their way through the crowd. "It is a beautiful venue," she nods with happy approval as she looks about, offering a respectful nod to Lord Ian, Lady Media and the lovely Lady Ann as they navigate the event. "Come, let us offer our congratulations"

Upon arrival a polite and graceful curtsy is offered to both the beautiful bride and the slightly shell-shocked groom. "Hello, my darlings. Please again, allow me to offer my congratulations both on this very happy occasion. I wish you such joy and contentment for all your days," she offers warmly to Jan getting a happy hug and peck on the cheek, if it is permitted, before stepping aside to allow Titania to offer her own greetings and words of congratulations.

Tesha's made a quiet entrance and is waiting her turn to greet and give congratulations to the newlyweds. The one-eyed woman gives a smile when she draws closer, "Lord and Lady Malespero, I wanted to stop in and congratulate you both on the wedding." she tells them. She knew that others were wanting to give congrats as well, so after hers are done she moves off to find a drink. And a place to wallflower.

Apollo wanders in - not so very late, but late, yes - a green scarf thrown around his shoulders like an afterthought. Like he felt like wearing a certain something, and then looked in the mirror and found himself _funereal_, and no, that won't do. He's popping a cookie in his mouth from the bakery just up the way - look, he can't resist, even if there are sure to be favors and such here. He doesn't crowd the happy couple, though - he does sort of get to talk to them whenever he likes. Instead, he hangs back, offers a smile when he catches their eyes. He'll be around.

Ferrando holds up a roll to Ian in an apparently 'want one?' sort of way, apparently rising to the implied challenge of minimalist replies by taking Ian's one word and countering with zero.

Ann smiles at Pasquale even if she gives him a worried glance when he goes to find a corner to scurry in. A smile offered to both Valencia and Titania when she spies them. Ferrrando is given a finger wave in greeting and a slight curtsey for Patrizio. She finds her own corner to people watch. She's all smiles because tonight is a happy occasion to celebrate.

"My lady. A delight to see you on /any/ occasion." Patrizio smiles warmly to Cassiopeia at her greeting, though there's a playful wrinkle to his nose when he's contemplating her, and then wiggling a finger accusingly. "You've snuck off to the south while some of us were freezing here in the city over winter. For shame." He's not too serious, from his tone, about the teasing, even as his gaze alights upon Valencia and Titania as they make their entry, lift of his drink in salute to the pair from where he's lingering back a bit from the centre of attention. Ann's curtsey gets a smile and the dip of his head. "My lady. How are you?"

As Medeia continues to circulate, she smiles brightly to Ann, laughing softly. "Lady Rivenshari, no hard feelings that your husband is my opponent's Champion, how are you?" There's a quick wink sent the woman's way before she turns her attention to Titania and Valencia. Both get a friendly wave before the Saik lady is continuing her quest to... It isn't entirely clear, other than greeting everyone. Which has Ferrando, Tesha, and Apollo all earning happy greetings, as well. She's made a full lap, now, and lands near Ian, leaning against the rail casually to sip her whiskey.

Pasquale puts his arm around Jan's waist when she makes her point. "How long do you think it will be before they find the Paralyzer amonst the liquor?"

Ian sees Ferrando's zero words and matches them with an incomplete gesture, the beginnings of a negative shake of his head. But then Medeia's here, and this seems to prod some limited manners from some deep and forgotten part of his psyche. "Uh. Do you two know each other?"

There is a smile for Patrizio when he greets Ann. "I am well. It is very good to see you, Archduke." Her words are sincere. He's always been a friend to her even if he climbed up in station and she went lower. Medeia catches her attention now and she laughs a little at the other lady's comment. "I think it will be exciting! Its an unusual duel I must admit but of course I will be cheering on my Matti." Waving towards Medeia when she moves along to greet others.

Jan hugs Titania and kisses her cheek, Valencia gets a hug also if she shows interest in it,"Thank you for the well wishes and for coming, please, make sure you grab a puzzle box. Pasquale was VERY proud of them for some reason." she ahhhs, "Not sure. Could honor the host and make a friendly wager between us newlyweds?" she grins at Pasquale, "my coin'd have to be on Ian, I think."

Ferrando idly finger-waves back to Ann before regarding Medeia's approach over to Conversation Central. Or this particular corner, as the less capitalized alliterative might call it. "Indeed we do! A good evening to you as well, Lady Medeia. Have you ever competed in a 'feed Lord Ian the most rolls' contest?" he replies brightly to Ian's query.

Titania smiles as she spots Ian a glance given to her cousin as she nods a greeting to him, "Cousin, it is good to see you." but then she is moving along with Valencia nodding her head, "Yes, she does look lovely doesn't see." she smiles as she spots Medeia waving and returns the friendly greeting. She spots Patrisio as well she gives the Archduke a warm smile. But then her attention is on Jan and Pasquale, "Cousin." she says to Jan and moves to hug and kiss her cheek, "I am so happy for you" she looks to Pasquale as well and moves to hug him, you married a kennex so not you get a Kennex hug! "I am happy for you both." she say softly. "I do have a small thing for you both, if I may?"

1 Culler Boatswain, 2 Culler Midshipman arrive, following Samira.

"A slight against Gild is not so unusual a premise for a duel," Medeia asserts to Ann, but there's at least a touch of humor in her otherwise serious expression. Her eyebrows bounce upward before she looks at Ian, seriousness melting away into surprise. It lasts only a moment before a beaming smile is leveled at Ferrando. "I can't say that I have! Please tell me that the rules are simply 'feed Lord Ian rolls' - that feels appropriate."

Pasquale probably expected a thousand and one hugs tonight because he hugs Titania back before untangling himself "That is very kind Titania.". He looks on over to Ferrando. "Thank you for joining us tonight."

Tesha gives a nod of her head in greeting to Medeia when she passes her by on her lap and there is a smile. Though for the moment she is watching the crowd and enjoying her drink.

Ian catches his name spoken across the room where Jan and Pasquale seem to be wagering on him in some regard, and then this is immediately followed by Ferrando's question to Medeia. And then her reply. "Alright. This is about to be blown straight out to sea."

Apollo returns Medeia's greetings with a subdued murmur, a kiss on the cheek, but sees her moving on in short order. He eyes threats of roll force-feeding with a little amusement - nothing to police, thanks to the venue. He winds his way over toward Tesha, catches her attention with a touch to the arm. "Lady Tesha," he says. "It's been an age. How are you?"

Jan bows her head politely to Ferrando, "Hi, I'm Jan, this is my husband Pasquale, thank you for joining us." she offers a hand to Ferrando and mutters to Pasquale, "I love saying that."

Pasquale murmurs something to Jan before looking away with a self-indulgent little smile. "I went very over board with the food."

Jan's hug is accepted and returned with equal enthusiasm, Valencia's dark eyes sparking with delight. "You look so lovely, my sweetest friend. I cannot tell how happy this makes me tonight. I am so very glad that Lady Titania kindly invited me to join her so we might celebrate your good fortune. You are a credit to Kennex as your handsome groom is a credit to Malespero," she nods warmly and gives a little laugh as Titania greets Pasquale as family. Stepping gracefully back to allow the family to enjoy the moment, Valencia casts her eyes about to and smiles to see Cassiopeia. Her expression brightens and she returns the nod gamely, before looking about for more familiar faces.

Samira is not the most punctual of people, and today is no exception. Her late arrival is made quietly, the artist slipping on board and beginning to meander through the gathering - likely on the lookout for the newlyweds to offer her eventual congratulations and also on the hunt for food. Never can turn down free refreshments!

"And likewise to you." Patrizio chuckles warmly to Ann at her words, and... for the moment, seems quite content to be staying away from the topic of the impending duel that is to be happening, though on mention of such, and at Ann's words to Medeia, there's that take of a sip once more from his glass. The smile behind that rim fades not one bit as he moves, as if to avoid the force-feeding that seems about to occur - and not without a wary eye - and moves instead over towards Titania and Valencia to greet them. "I'd be remiss if I didn't come over in person to see you both," he says, the brief turn of his head to consider where the bride and groom seem to be enjoying themselves. "Gods know such joyous things should visit us more often."

Ferrando might just have over-acquired rolls on his trip to the spread and is seeking a less wasteful off-ramp then 'throw the roll overboard'. On the other hand, he's also a Liberator, so maybe trying to analyze his roll-related motivations is not worth the mental effort. They do what they want! "No sense in overcomplicating things," he concurs with Medeia before regarding Ian. "They're excellent rolls! The only way you could possibly lose this contest is by declining to participate." He turns the other way and oh hey the bridal line has come to him! Well, he is chatting up the bride's cousin, after all, so maybe it's not that surprising. "Lord Pasquale, Lady Jan, congratulations to you both!" he recovers smoothly. "Ferrando Artiglio, Senior Liberator of Skald, at your service. We're of course delighted to be able to celebrate a fine day for House Kennex, who've done so much in advancing the cause of thralldom abolishment in the Compact." He grins and gives Jan the roll, since she's holding her hand out for it. "And of course, you get to go first in the roll feeding contest."

Fajra, Scoundrel arrive, following Lianne.

Ian seizes the distraction provided by Jan and Pasquale coming over to talk to Ferrando as a means of ducking away from the increasing gathering of people like Batman with a smoke grenade.

Ferrando steps back to give Jan an unobstructed path to Ian.

Tesha gives a look up when Apollo approaches and there is a smile that tugs at the scars on her face, "Duke Apollo, it has indeed been ages." she tells him. "I am alright. Your armor is doing a good job of making sure I've not died." she grins as she pats her coat. "How are you doing?" she asks him.

But he's gone! Gadzooks.

Titania smiles looking between the two of them her cousin and new one, family means a lot to her and she stands there dressed in her many colored blue hue dress. "May the gentle waves of Mangata's blessing surround you on this joyous day, like a serene ocean embracing the shores. As you embark on this journey together, may your union be as boundless and deep as the waters that stretch to the horizon.
Mangata, the water goddess, symbolizes the ebb and flow of life, the currents of emotion, and the profound depths of connection. May your love be a reflection of her tranquil waters, calm in times of stillness and resilient in the face of storms." she touches both their arms gently then back s away to let others in.

"That was truly lovely Titania." Pasquale says after the blessing is done. "And very kind. May she give you gentle rain and endless sustenance."

Jan laughs at Pasquale, "If that is how you want our wedding reception memorialized, then I love it, my irreverence-your wit. It's perfect." she kisses Pasquale's cheek. she turns to look at Titania, "Awwww, that is beautiful, and so thoughtful-thank you so much Titania!"

Medeia is making no attempt to take any rolls or feed them to anyone, she's still just leaning against the railing, sipping her whiskey, being delighted by the absurdity of certain threads of conversation. Ian's disappearance from her side is acknowledged only by her gaze following his movement for a couple seconds. Once that has passed, the lady seems content to settle into people watching.

Apollo offers an easy smile. "Hard to think how I could be better," he says. "That's the second time I've heard that about armor I provided this week. There's little that cheers me more. Have you had many occasions to wear it?" Oh, he's keeping an eye on Jan and Pasquale from a distance, but they're -fine-. No reason to interject.

Another small smile tugs at Pasquale's lips when Jan laughs. "It's not so much about memorialising things as inspiring laughter. Who do you think will realise first?"

At Patrizio's approach, Valencia's smile blossoms all the more and her dark eyes alight in turn. "Your Grace," she beams with an offer of a delicate hand. "I am very happy to see your face. I'm glad you are here. Thank you again for join us the other night. It was great fun. I was so happy to see your and Countess Titania's talents shared once again upon the sands. I hope you had fun."

Jan mmmmms and scans the crowd, "You'd know better than me, who among our guests are most likely to solve the puzzlebox rather than stick it in their shoe closest?"

"I think I've worn it to...about every major battle we've had the past years." Tesha admits with a bit of a thoughtful look. "I didn't wear armor to Artshall and I feel that was a mistake given my eye and face suffered greatly after that." she chuckles. "But it happens." she shrugs. "Have you congratulated the couple yet?" she asks him.

Ferrando side-eyes Medeia idly. "You know, it's just as well he took the opportunity to escape, since I don't think I have any real plans for what happens next if anyone -did- agree to be the focal point of a spontaneous roll-feeding contest," he observes thoughtfully.

"It does feel like a rather dubious choice." Pasquale agrees after Ferrando says that. "Fraught with disgusting consequences and an occasional black eye. Perhaps a better, lighter game." he gestures to the tower of chocolates. "Take a chocolate from the bottom without it all falling down. The person with the most chocolates at the end can choose where we send all the excess food."

Patrizio grins when he takes up the hand as it's offered to him by Valencia, kissing the back of it. "No where else I'd be, and truly, nothing to thank me for the other evening. Thank /you/ for offering me the chance to be on the sands again." There's that dance of his gaze, even as he's smiling to Titania. "I delighted to see you out there as well, to show off your talents - the Sip'n'Spars are always a wonderful time for different challenges." He does, briefly, look about as if for someone in particular, but clearly that brings his gaze instead to Ann and Medeia, a gesture to them with his wineglass as if to invite them to come join the conversation closer to the bride and groom.

Though Jan's words get a grin. "If I cannot solve it, it'll be on my desk where visitors can offer their sage advice on what I've missed, my lady."

Spotting Medeia among the crowd, Samira flings her arms wide and then, if she happens to capture the other woman's attention, pantomimes heading her direction. It's a sort of 'coming momentarily!' gesture. But first comes the reason for the event itself. She turns and moves to greet Pasquale and Jan. "Congratulations to you both. Can't imagine a better pairing than Malespero and Kennex." She might be biased. Just a little. "Hope it brings you both happiness."

Lianne's arrival is quiet, aided by a particularly attentive and undeniably charming guard, easing her step down from the gangway. She murmurs a soft, "Thank you, Paris," before drifting off to the side, keeping entirely to herself for the moment. Unlike her assistant, dressed up for the occasion, who promptly attempts to distract said guard with an easy smile and some idle chatter.

Jan smiles "Mistress Samira! Glad that you could make it! Please eat, drink, and enjoy yourself." she turns her head and her eyes widen in amusement, "Tell me these aren't trapped."

Medeia laughs in response to Ferrando. The sound is uninhibited, allowed to float past her lips in good humor. "Messere, I am truly glad that you didn't have a plan. Though, I wouldn't have put it past you. I've seen what happens when yoy have a mind to do something." Then, shes carefully not spilling her whiskey as she gives Samira a similarly large, wide-armed gesture of greeting. An 'I'll be here!' Patrizio's gesture is noted, but the lady gives a subtle shake of her head, keeping to the railing for now.

Pasquale nudges Jan. "Now why would I trap it?"

"It's as you say, Lord Pasquale. At the very least I'd have had to start inventing all sorts of rules on the spot," Ferrando agrees with Pasquale. "Is stealing rolls from, or brawling with other players allowed? What if somebody fed him a roll, then grabbed that big silver cloche over there and stuck it on his head to prevent anyone else from catching up? How do you score half a roll? Is there extra points for butter? It's not a simple thing to decide all of these issues on the fly. I think I like your suggested alternative quite a lot better." He grins at Medeia. "I do appreciate the support. Wish me luck!" With that, he enterprisingly sets off to try his hand at chocojenga.

Ferrando checks dexterity and legerdemain at easy. Ferrando is successful.

"Though I do think my armor most effective when it's worn," Apollo tells Tesha, "your scars lend you a rakish charm. Anyone who says otherwise simply lacks for taste." His eyes narrow thoughtfully, and then he shakes his head. "You know, I see them nearly daily, and yet I don't think I have. And my wife's just arrived, too." Oh yes, he caught her. Maybe caught Fajra and Paris and their flirting, first, quiet as Lianne is. His greeting, there, is quiet, a hand lifted, light in his eyes. He'll be wandering that way momentarily, but first, he turns and gives Tesha a little bow. "Perhaps later you would favor me with a story or two of what you've seen, these last years."

Ann did see Patrizio's look. She gives him a small smile of thanks but it looks as if she is going to make her way out instead. She blows kisses towards Pasquale and Jan and will have to catch them later. Amused at the puzzle she has in her hands. The children will have fun figuring it out when she gets home.

3 Thrax Guards, 1 Thrax Elite Guards arrive, following Fatima.

A warm nod is offered t Samira as she makes her way to greet Mediea before turning her attention back upon the Archduke of Pravus. "We'll, I will be hosting another if you would like to indulge again," she grins up a the man. "Your cousin fares well I hope?" she asks giving Ann a little finger wave goodbye for now.

"Good luck." Pasquale offers as Ferrando takes the first risk with the chocolate tower. He nudges Jan then "You next." before giving Tesha and Valencia both nods of greeting. "Tesha. Valencia. Its so lovely to see you both here." And since he's already moving he takes the opportunity to ambush Lianne with a quick hug.

Jan smiles at Pasquale "No idea my heart." she waves "Hello Lady Tesha! forgive us for missing you in the excitement, thank you for coming, you look well! Please don't forget tot grab a puzzle box!"

Jan says, "me next what?"

2 Armed Confessors, Angwyn the otter, Mordred, Abner, Capt'n Waddles the small cock with a bell, 2 Rivenshari Clan Guardsman, 2 Redrain Guards leave, following Ann.

Harlen arrives, following Duarte.

Umi, the curious turtle have been dismissed.

1 Kennex corsairs have been dismissed.

Tesha gives a smile to Apollo, "Apparently people like the scars." she muses. "And shoving a piece of dragonweep in my eye was...an experience." she shakes her head. "But I will let you get to the Duchess. I am happy that you're back around Duke Apollo and I'd be happy to share stories when we have time...and I'm not about to set off to do some dangerous work of my own." she grins to him.

Duarte takes Malespero Kennex Wedding Puzzle Box from Malespero sigil engraved Maple Chest.

Tesha also gives a smile to Pasquale and a wave, "Lord Pasquale and Lady Jan, you have nothing to apologize on. I wanted to stop in and give my congratulations before I left the city for a bit." she grins to them.

The smile Patrizio offers to Medeia speaks to the offer remaining open, even as he's turning himself back to greetings. "Messere Culler, it's been some time. I truly hope that you and yours are well," he offers to Samira on being her, the bow of his head in greeting, before there's a chuckle for Valencia. "I've actually not had very many words with my cousin since the evening in question, though... let us be fair, it is not /my/ cousin who went home with marks from their bout upon her." He punctuates this with a laugh, before it's quieted with another sip of his wine. As if it's a good sport, however, there's a wary look at each to whom Jan encourages to pick up a puzzle box...

Tesha takes Malespero Kennex Wedding Puzzle Box from Malespero sigil engraved Maple Chest.

Ferrando manages to not touch off the most undramatic game of chocolate jenga ever held by immediately destroying half the tower with his first pull. Also, from the look on his face after he has a bite of his haul, they're pretty good chocolates. "Well, I suppose I won't argue too much if I win by default," he quips.

Samira flashes a quick, rare smile to Jan and nods in answer. "I'll do just that. Thank you." It's not so much the challenge presented by Pasquale that captures her attention, but the prize of choosing where to send the excess food. She begins eyeing the chocolate tower appraisingly while making her way over to greet Medeia and those near her. "Deia, hey." Patrizio's greeting is met with a respectful nod of her head. "Just returned from some travels and while it was nice to be away, it's even better to be back," she admits. "We're all doing well. I hope the same can be said for you and yours?"

Duarte emerges from one of the state rooms while idly tucking in half of his shirt and then fixing messy hair to attain an appearance that is not so dissheveled. He then slinks to the main deck and drifts over to the velvet couch, picking up refreshment of the whiskey variety and a party gift along the way. He collapses onto the furniture and immediately begins futzing with the puzzle box.

Duarte has joined the lightly used, dark-red velvet couch.

Except Lianne spots Pasquale coming. His intention isn't entirely obvious until he's practically upon her, but open arms are met with open arms, her brother's embrace reciprocated with a warm smile and a curious look. "I see you're enjoying your day," sounds approving, pleased. She squeezes him before letting go, stepping back with chin lifted and brows arched. "Have you told your bride about her wedding gift yet?" It's not the sort of thing she could hide from him, but maybe she can yet surprise Jan.

Duarte checks intellect and riddles at normal. Duarte is successful.

"You as well, Lord Pasquale," Valencia smiles again as he greets her in passing. "I fear both our cousins are very spirited, but this is a good thing, yes?" she nods to patrizio moving to his side out and out of the way of the guests as they move about the space. A little smile comes as she watches the contest for a moment and shakes her head playfully. "It has been some time since I saw Missere Ferrando," she muses with a nod to the man. As Duarte emerges into the fray, the nobleman is offered a graceful incline of head which slips into a smile as he immediately sets to seeking how to solve the puzzlebox. "So many people I have not seen in some time. It is rather wonderful, I think."

Valencia gets Malespero Kennex Wedding Puzzle Box from Malespero sigil engraved Maple Chest.

A lift of Medeia's glass is given in Lianne's direction when she finally takes note of the duchess' quiet arrival. Then, the lady wishes Ferrando good luck before draining her glass of its contents. With the empty vessel in hand, she grins at Samira. "Hey to you, too." She gives a small nudge of elbow to elbow. Her gaze scans the party, catching sight of something to causes one corner of her mouth to quirk higher. "I should get another drink."

Fatima makes her way onto the ship, and leaves her guards in a conspicuous spot so they can keep an eye out for her. The Thrax Princess waits her turn to greet the newlyweds, and snags herself a drink in the meantime. As always, she is impeccably made-up, raven locks styled in an elegant updo. Her sea green eyes scan the various guests while she waits, and she gives an inclination of the head to those she knows.

Pasquale checks dexterity at easy. Pasquale is successful.

"I'm just really glad to have you here." Pasquale tells Lianne before turning his gaze towards Jan. He smiles a little, tells Lianne "Of course not." and then goes back on over to the chocolates. "An impromptu game" he says to both Jan and everyone else at once. "All you have to do is pluck a chocolate out from the bottom part of the tower" he plucks a dark chocolate out from near the bottom. "Without bringing the whole thing down. And to make it a real game - Whoever has the most chocolates when the tower finally falls gets to decide where we send the leftovers."

Duarte holds the puzzle box before him in a hand as he nurses his whiskey with the other. He frowns at it. He brings it alongside his ear and gives it a little shake. He seems delighted by the rattling of something inside.

Ferrando seemingly picks up on his name mentioned somewhere and with a not-quite-surreptitious what-am-I-in-trouble-for-now visual sweep quickly determines that it came from Valencia. He looks a bit relieved, since this seems to indicate to him that he wasn't actually in any trouble. He troops over anyway. "By the First Choice, it's been ages. Hello, Valencia!" he declares warmly with a smile for everyone else in her vicinity. "Delighted to see you here tonight."

Apollo gives a smile and a loft of his brows. "Well, we won't keep you from it. I'm glad you remembered to leave time for enjoyment and friends." And then he gives another dip of his head, wanders off toward Pasquale, Jan, and his wife. "Nice you arrange a game," he tells Pasquale as he nears. "Congratulations, my friend." And to Jan: "And to you. I'm glad to see you looking so happy."

Tesha gives a smile to Apollo, "It was good to see you again." she dips her head to him. There is another bow given to Jan and Pasquale on her way out, but she's just as quiet in her exit as she was her entrance.

2 Telmarine Guards, Squall leave, following Tesha.

Apollo checks dexterity and legerdemain at easy. Apollo is successful.

Jan smiles warmly to Lianne and to Apollo, "Duchess, Duke, thank you both for coming. " she smiles warmly to Apollo "Of course I am happy, look who I get to spend the rest of my life with, and a new family, even better." she looks to Lianne and her eyebrows loft, "I had assumed the sword, allowing me to use the sword, was the wedding present." she grins at Pasquale, "AHAH, of course, remind me the rules?" she squares up, preparing to take her turn.

Jan is overheard praising Duarte.

"The joy of being in a place of celebration is seeing those one rarely encounters," agrees Patrizio when he's overhearing Valencia, but his grin is turned to Samira when he considers the response to her question. "So far, things seem quiet with my kin, which means that all of us should /probably/ be worried." This does come with a hint of a glance towards Duarte and Cassiopeia in turn, as if playing at being concerned... but a laugh slides from him once more, and then, catching sight of Fatima, he salutes the Thrax princess with his glass. Which, too, could probably use a refill at this point, but the archduke isn't hastening towards any such thing.

Medeia checks dexterity and legerdemain at easy. Medeia is successful.

Samira checks dexterity and legerdemain at easy. Samira is successful.

1 Malespero Guard, Eumelia arrive, following Macario.

Medeia decides to try her hand at the plucking of a chocolate from the bottom of the tower, and does it quickly, celebrating not knocking the whole thing over by sinking her teeth into the confection and savoring it as she continues on her way to refill her glass. With one hand now holding chocolate and the other holding whiskey, she moves to perch at the edge of the couch near Duarte, resuming her people-watching from a new vantage point.

Lianne might murmur an, "Of course," to Pasquale, but he's all uncharacteristically giddy energy today, there for hardly a moment. She can't help but smile after him, head that direction, too, when she spies Apollo approaching. Without word, she slips an arm behind Apollo, steps in close. And, oh, she smiles at Jan, answering with a shake of her head. "/That/ was an answer to your request to have purpose and work within your new house. Your /gift/ is a caravel all your own, to crew as you'd like. It's already been named." A look askance at Apollo encourages him to share the ship's name.

Duarte is innocent as can be as far as Patrizio might be able to tell. Both his hands are occupied on the wedding gift. Harlen is conspicuously missing from his vicinity, but Harlen's never been a problem as far as anyone knows...

The Count 'ahas!' as he finally gets the thing to open. He sets down his whiskey and reads the card - he seems rather touched by it - and removes the sugar plate. "Oh! This must be that bush Lady Jan is always exclaiming about!"

There's little that would stop the tallest of the Malespero lords from arriving at this event, even if it is fashionably late. Macario manages a huffy brush of his vest as he exits the Lowers and into this fine, fine establishment. A floating one. Well, regardless, an establishment. The gangway conquered without incident, he succinctly pilfers two goblets of wine off a passing tray, downing one before slipping the empty one back on the tray. He, more casually, enjoys the second as he walks further in. He manages to take his time, approaching his brother in oath, naturally checking out the sights and sounds of the party.

Carissa, a Southport bodyguard, Planchet the Lycene maggiordome arrive, following Eirene.

Carissa, a Southport bodyguard have been dismissed.

Pasquale might have had a bit to drink. Maybe. Possibly. He looks to Jan when she asks for the rules. "The only rule is that the chocolate has to be from the lower parts of the tower and if any chocolates fall, the game is over." he stops as Lianne announces the gift though, looking first to Lianne, to Jan, to Apollo, and then back to Jan again.

Apollo enfolds Lianne, arm about her in turn, and grins at Jan. "Oh yes," he says. "The Salty Clam. She's all yours." The tip back and forth of his head, gesture from wife to husband and back - he knows they'll share. "Though I did have one other small token for you. Something you might enjoy." He turns over his other hand - he might have good luck in the chocolate game with those clever hands, because the little green-and-black leather sack seems to come from nowhere. "A game from my youth. I'll show you how to play later, if you like." Then, with a squeeze given his wife, he's stepping aside to try at those chocolates. Success!

Ian reappears from wherever he disappeared to. Either that, or he was effectively blending in this whole time. Either way, he's here now, leaning against a wall on the outskirts of the room, watching.

"And you, Missere Ferrando. Welcome back to the city," Valencia smiles back with a happy incline of head. The game continues and the little Lycene shakes her head as she watches a little longer. "I admire those of great skill," she tells Patrizio, offering a friendly nod to Lianne and Appolo should they pass by. "It is lovely to see people so happy," she muses idly before looking to Patrizio again. "Will you be attending the duel coming soon?" she asks with curiosity.

3 Thrax Guards, 1 Thrax Elite Guards leave, following Fatima.

Jan ahhhhs and grins, "Got it. I'll go last because my fat fingers and I am likely to spoil the game." She then double-takes, eyes going full round, "Wait. wait, wait. You got me a CARAVEL?! an ENTIRE Cavaravel. That's mine." she stares. she's so busy staring it takes her a moment to register to the ship name. She blinks and then bursts out laughing in delight, "the...thesalty...bwa-ahahaha!"

Samira sends Patrizio an answering grin and a knowing look. "Usually means some sort of trouble is brewing, huh? Best keep an eye out. Though a /little/ trouble keeps things interesting." The remark is uttered with a hint of amusement paired with a shrug as if to proclaim her own innocence. She knows nothing about trouble-making, of course. Her gaze slides back toward the chocolate tower, a call of approval sent out for Medeia as she deftly plucks her chocolate. The Culler steps forward, compelled to try her hand at the game as well, and manages to procure a chocolate without causing any others in the pile to waver. She nods to Apollo as she spots him near the chocolate tower, a quiet greeting offered.

For someone who recently was reported to be on death's door, Eirene seems to be looking just fine. Dark hair mingled liberally with white streaks, black leathers with blue accents, and a grin of someone who's ready to be a sarcastic addition to any party. "Ey... Congrats to the married couple," she says cheerfully, in her Lycene accented gravel voice. She pauses at the words 'salty clam'. "That's no way to describe a bride on her wedding day," she jokes as she looks at Jan in bold amusement.

Duarte's eyes have been focused on the puzzle box gift but his ears, of course, are always sweeping. He lifts his head at the reveal of the gifted caravel's name from Apollo. He looks at Lianne, then Pasquale, and finally Jan. Then he looks at the sugar plate design and delicately sets it back into the box.

"I am beginning to get the notion there is a theme to all this but it's not precisely nautical...."

"Cousin!" Medeia greets Macario with joy when she sees him, offering a lift of her whiskey glass in his direction. She then glances aside at Duarte's comment and ducks her head, lips pressing together to keep from laughing.

Macario steps up toward his immediate family, with Lianne and Apollo and Jan and Pasquale. "Duchess. Duke. Brother. Jan." He managed to overhear just enough and beams quite proudly at his brother. "And there could be no better name. Congratulations!" There's an absolute genuine adoration for the gift. "You will use it well. I mean, I was stressed the first few missions, but you just keep on coming back. That settles my worried heart." He shakes his head, "The Salty Clam. Damn. Apollo, bad-ass naming. That's great." Medeia calls for him and he grins and waves, and notes her whisky glass. "Oo. You have whisky." He calls for a tray.

Pasquale gives another of those small little smiles. "And to think" he says "Jan didn't believe me when I told her she would fit right in." The look he gives Duarte carries a definite touch of mischief. "I can't be blamed."

Ferrando laughs lightly. "I haven't been away! Just parenting. Though for the time it takes up I might as well have been back in Lenosia," Ferrando quips. "With her legendary forgemistress mother busy at work I've been the one keeping eyes on the little street rat most of the time. Although now she isn't so little anymore," he observes with a slight residual trace of tired dad energy before eyeing the chocojenga game. "Hmm, seems time for another round to me. One moment."

Medeia moves to off from the couch to give Macario a hug and press her glass into his hand. "Here, you take it," she insists. She moves over to give Pasquale and Jan another round of congratulations before slipping away, out of the party and off the boat.

Lianne's smile for Apollo's nearness is warm and steady, such a soft thing, a contrast to the bright laughter that meets Jan's when the ship's name is revealed. "I'm glad you like it," she murmurs, smile bright as the sun. Oh, she'd like for it to dim when she catches that quip from Duarte, but it doesn't, undermining the impact of those vibrant green eyes of hers going wide with wholly feigned innocence. Why, whatever could he mean. When another brother approaches, he gets her bright smile as well, "Macario. It's so good to see you. I hardly catch you about the tower these days." When he calls for whiskey, she signals for one as well, glad to steal a glass. Might free up a little space for Apollo, too, should he wish to put those clever hands of his to chocolateful use.

Jan steps forward and hugs Lianne and then Apollo if they each permit, "That is...more insanely generous and kind than I can fathom, thank you so much." she steps back and grins "I just didn't want to be a trophy wife, this is..so generous, thank you so much. And the name.. it's " she makes a chef's kiss "perfect!" she grins at Pasquale, "You knew about this?!"

Patrizio chuckles softly as he's contemplating Samira. "I suppose it depends not he /kind/ of trouble, let us be honest. I could stand for fun trouble, but in equal measure, I could also enjoy some quiet for a period, which we all deserve." That smile lingers, even as he's drawing a deep breath and taking a survey of the room. Eirene's arrival does not go unmarked, the brief lift of his glass to her. But the smile remains, even as he looks about, clearly enjoying the hubbub that is filling the space, even as he leans in close to murmur with Valencia.

Macario accepts the hug and glass of whisky from the fleeing Medeia. It's finished by the time another round arrives at Lianne's call. He offers the Duchess a hug, his tall lanky arms surrounding her briefly. "That, we should most definitely change, Duchess. You were out adventuring and I didn't even manage to take your husband out for drinks. Not that he needs my help in that department, but still, I feel I've done you a disservice while you were ensuring Pasquale's safety. And chaperoning the bride!" Yup, that's definitely Macario's impression of the mission. For sure.

"Not really." Pasquale tells Jan. "This is all their doing." he gives Eirene a nod as his attention is drawn that way. "Welcome to the party Eirene."

Catching Patrizio's raising of his glass in welcome to Eirene, Valencia smiles as well, her head gently inclining to the Lycene surgeon before returning to her quiet conversation with Patrizio. A little smile and not in answer to something he says.

Eirene nods back to Pasquale as she grabs a glass of ... something with which to toast the happy couple. "Thanks," she replies with a smile. With that, she finds a wall to prop up and just observe the festivities. There's the faintest hint of a limp when she moves, barely visible.

Eirene also lifts the glass to Valencia, returning the nod with a small smile.

Duarte notices a duldrums in the receiving line and so peels himself off the couch and drifts across the deck toward the newly-weds. Along the way, he selects a chocolate from the top of the stack - the easiest one possible - and plops it in his mouth.

He meets Pasquale with an absolutely flamboyant bow and scrape, "Lord Pasquale, my deepest cond..congratulations on such a happy day!" And as he rises he smiles to the bride, "And Lady Jan - what ... color you bring to not just Pasquale's life, but to this occasion and everyone's cheeks as well. Congratulations." He lifts his glass at them in cheers and drinks.

Pasquale checks dexterity at normal. Pasquale fails.

Apollo is absolutely happy to give Jan a hug, a proper squeeze with real affection. "Trophy nothing," he says, like that thought is just too easy to dismiss. "Welcome home," he says, and then steps back. Is he, now, going to have to flag down his own whiskey? Or (gasp) get it himself? Well: first, another chocolate. Nothing topples. He's probably taking from the side that's been helped with some glue. Right. A glance aside at Samira when she takes her turn, and he just smiles at her, then unwraps his chocolate. He seems downright _jolly_ when he turns back to Lianne. "Would it be in terrible form if one of us won this?"

Lianne reciprocates Jan's hug, newly acquired whiskey held safely away from that embrace. "Of course," she tells her, voice low, all conspiratorial. "We happen to rather like you." She goes from one hug to another, giving her tallest brother a squeeze. She agrees with Macario's first sentiment, but her humor mutes for just a moment at the mention of adventuring, brightening once more for the suggestion that Apollo may have been due drinks. "Plenty worth returning home for. A husband capable of keeping it all from falling apart in my absence and /another/ wedding to attend. Eventually." No rush, really. Just a tease. Apollo's inquiry sees her eyes widen like she can't imagine what he means. "It certainly won't be me." She hasn't even tried.

Ian nods to Eirene across the room, a silent hello and goodbye before he ducks back out again.

Pasquale sees that everyone has mostly stopped playing the jenga game and decides to take a risk on plucking another chocolate out himself. He picks a nice dark chocolate nestled low in the tower, plucks it out, and the careful equilibrium fails as a full quarter of the chocolates slip down into the tray. A slightly guilty half smile is offered to them all for just a moment before being wiped out by him eating said chocolate. His eyes go to the participants as he devours it, silently pondering the winner.

Ferrando checks dexterity and legerdemain at hard. Ferrando is successful.

Ferrando casually snags another chocolate out of the teetering remains of the tower.

Jan smiles Apollo, "you are impossibly sweet, my lord. Both of you. " she snorts gently, "Don't jinx it, Lianne." flashing a quick wink and then she spies Eirene and brightens, "My love! Look! Lady Eirene is on her feet!" she makes her way over to say hello, "Lady Eirene! Hello! you look damn good!"

"Eventually!" Macario agrees with a light-hearted enthusiasm. "I look forward to it. It will be a humble affair by the time it happens, I'll be an old man. But regardless, I am certain it's just around the corner. Hard to pin down two busy people. But again, thank you for taking the time to write-up the contract. Nicely done. Trade-routes. And all that. Ah, wouldn't be a Malespero event without a game." That, he says, just Pasq is the last person to play the game and tip the tower.

Eirene grins at Jan. "Thank you, Bride-General," she teases. "I've been working on it and making sure that damn plant doesn't get the best of me. Just took a little rest, is all. I'm not going to be flipping summersaults any time soon, but I'm at least able to get around. I had to come offer my congrats. You and Pas look happy together, and that's good."

"It is lovely to see you again, my lady," Valencia offers to Eirene with gentle nod before looking back to the games unfolding, only pausing to look away to nod to Ian as he departs again.

Jan laughs, "Any kernels of wisdom to impart as I start on this new to me voyage, Lady Eirene?"

Jan is overheard praising Lianne.

A smile finds Patrizio's features as he nods to Valencia, before he's lifting his glass to Jan and Pasquale. "My lord, my lady. Once more, congratulations on your wedding, and may your joy continue to build. But on that note, I should abscond, if you'll give pardon."

Jan is overheard praising Apollo.

Jan is overheard praising Titania.

With that bit of an event finished Pasquale finally points to Samira. "Samira. You're the only one who has all her chocolates. You win. Let the staff know who gets the food." he reaches to touch Jan's hand and then he goes on across to the couch with Duarte and sits himself down. Tired now.

Pasquale has joined the lightly used, dark-red velvet couch.

Paris, a charming mercenary leaves, following Apollo.

Jan pauses to kiss Pasquale's cheek and allows him to go sit while she chats with Eirene and waves to Macario "Ahah, Lord Macario, forgive me I saw you from the corner of my eye and mistook you for the entertainment."

"All good!" Macario says to Jan, though he laughs. "I don't know what kind of entertainment you were expecting," he considers that for a moment, and mock-unbuttons the top button of his shirt. "But I can be. I sadly missed the bachelorette party. Sad, to be sure."

Having made her rounds through the guests, circling back to the snack table, Cassiopeia looks content to revel in other people's bliss. There's a content smile on her face, lit up as she rests a hand idly on her stomach. The woman watches quietly and enjoys the evening, happy to be part of it all.

Eirene has to ponder the question posed to her by Jan. "Depends, are you going to ditch the herbs and pop out a kid or two?" Her eyebrows wiggle. "Because if so, just prepare for the longest nine months of your life. Followed by the longest years of the rest of your life. I don't regret my little monsters though. I'll kill for them to ensure they have the best life possible." And she has, probably. "As for marriage? Be friends as much as you are lovers. You're going to be together for a long while, Gods willing, so enjoy the company whether just comfort or passion." She sniggers at Macario's reply.

Duarte stalks Pasquale as the groom moves back to the couch. It's only 1/4 omenous. He again selects a chocolate as he passes by and plops it into his mouth. He floats onto the cushion to accompany the Lord Malespero and grins at him.

"Not sure if quiet's easy to find these days, at least not the truly peaceful, relaxing kind," Samira laments to Patrizio. Pasquale's announcement that she has won earns a look of utter gratitude from the Culler. "Thank you. Really. I know exactly where I want it to go." Seems she's had a hopeful plan in mind since the moment the prize was announced. "It's kind of you to donate the leftovers."

Valencia lifts her cup to Patrizio's salute to the happy couple as well before surrendering the cup to a passing member of staff. Pushing up up onto her toes, she looks across the crowd to see if she can find Titania, calling to her if she is not otherwise occupied.

Jan bows her head, "Children were agreed and negotiated in the contract." she confirms. she laughs "Everything stays on, if it requires a dollar figure let me know how much. No bachelorette party and I do not regret it either."

Titania has been here talking with people and mingling about, when she hears Valencia all to her. She turns and moves to the vixen a soft smile coming to her lips, her eyes look to Jan. "One moment." she moves to Jan to hug her again and whisper to her softly.

Macario is near enough his wedding that Eirene's advice is heard. He grins at Jan and nods, "Overrated practice, I am sure. Well congratulations Lady Jan! Welcome again to the family. Let the halls be filled with little Pasq and Jan's running about soon enough. I'll babysit anytime."

"I cant think of anything more wasteful than throwing this all into the bay." Pasquale tells Samira. "I'm glad it will do some good." He lifts his eyes towards Macario and Jan. "Treat my wife to a dance Macario."

Jan claims a hug from Titania "Thank you for coming, Congratulations to you too."

Titania Smiles, "Soon, cousin, Soon." she smiles and looks to Pasquale giving him a wave. She turns to head back to Valencia smiling.

"Yes, I should take advantage of this moment where she's not wearing armour," Macario nods to Pasquale's suggestion. Well, sort of, he half-assumes Pasquale is sending him to his death but all things are relative between brothers. He offers a hand to Jan, "Lady Jan. A dance with your brother-in-law?" He does note she's still armed. It's a delicate invite for a dance.

Valencia nods warmly to Titania and happily moves to the Archduke's side with a nod for Jan and Pasquale with warm regard, seeming to wish to say goodbye without interrupting their fun.

Once empty, Cassiopeia places her plate on a tray that goes by held by a server. The woman takes in a small breath, letting it out and smiling warmly. Cassiopeia looks as though she is near the end of her excitement, and she gives a small wave to Pasquale and Jan, not interrupting their festivities. "Thank you for letting us be part of this great celebration," her voice is warm and soft. Then she glances at the door, offering a few parting words to those gathered, before she makes her way out.

Jan lifts a finger, "If you're promising to mind your manners. Break that promise and any offendin bits become my keepsake." she flicks a glance towards Pasquale, sees that he has company and accepts the invitation of the dance, "Thank you for coming Marquessa!"

Jan waves to valencia as well!

Pasquale notices Valencia's regard. "Thank you for coming Valencia. Thank you too Cassiopeia. It was lovely to see you." he looks to Duarte. "And thank you Duarte for lending us your ship."

Patrizio offers up a warm smile to Titania and Valencia, as he gestures for the door. His retinue, too, get the hint as the archduke makes his way out with his enlarged entourage.

Eirene has imparted her wisdom that comes with age and having three kids. She settles onto a couch and just enjoys the happy company.

Jan bows her head, "Thank you, Lady Eirene!"

Umi, the curious turtle, 1 Kennex corsairs leave, following Titania.

9 First Legion Centurions, 3 Setarcan Royal Shields, Valencia, Titania leave, following Patrizio.

Macario grins at that. "Somehow it would not be normal if there wasn't a threat of something being knobbed off." Macario is the most gentlemanly gentleman. Well, not usually, but here! In this moment in time, he is most definitely that. He takes the offered hand brings Jan out into the dance floor stealing her away for the length of a song. They dance, they talk a little, probably about nothing serious. As the music comes to a halt, he properly steps away and bows while still holding her hand, "Thank you Lady Jan. Truly, welcome to the family."
