House Leary had a wonderful woman from their House come to live with them in Arx. I met Lady Ilmia Leary several times growing up, and she never failed to make an impression upon me. She is perhaps too book smart for me to mesh with very well though.

Gods.. sometimes if I don't jot my thoughts down, I'd forget them. My week has been truly productive. I cannot complain, I did much and still much more to do. Commissions are coming in, my assistant keeps me sane and organized, she is learning well and the kitten keeps me entertained and relax. It was about time I got one since moving here but I do miss my horse. Maybe in time, I shall have another. All in time. Time, time, time.

Been in the city for a while now. I'm wonderin if I need to try and find myself a patron like so many of the others in the city do. But then again, I don't really got much for skills to market. Save for fightin' that is. Guess maybe I could work as someone's guard or somethin'. That'd be a laugh. Still, I don't mind doin the work if it's worth it in the end.

I went to the Assembly of Peers today, despite being newly arrived to the city I felt that it would do me good to see what is going on. What I can help with and those various things. I have a new topic I'd like to investigate now and I wanted to thank Prince Luca Grayson for giving me the idea. So if I run off for a few days, don't fret, I'm just exploring ruins.

Today House Seliki celebrates openly the decision of Prince Victus Thrax. I had planned, with the leave of his Majesty, to invite a former thrall to speak on his experience, and found that intention waylaid by circumstance. But hardly can I fret when the news is nothing more than my heart's oldest desire: to see that institution ended. The work of it, though: that only begins.
