I cannot wait. To Mistress Adora's shop I go. An indulgence I admit. It would take me many weeks of frittering away to get enough to wear. But no. No, this one has a special job.

I would like to add as further thought to my recent journal entry that it is the sad inability and, in other cases, unwillingness of people to understand one another that gives the genre of tragedy such power. A series of terrible events is set in motion because men and women, having their own interests in view, do not - or will not - listen to or perceive others with empathy.

Butter the biscuits and call me a nervous Nancy, because I certainly am two shakes from a shivering stalk.

Proper command of Solace's forces for the first time in... ever, I think. At least for a cause so righteous and significant. I'm eternally grateful for the trust placed in me but I'd be remiss if I wasn't honest about my anxiety. Maybe I should lay off the sweets for the next few weeks.

I'm not a fan of writing these, but credit is where it's due. And damnit if I'm not tired from the amount of work I've put in lately because of it. There's few things in this wretched ball of mud that we call life that I find worth valuing. At least vocally, but putting up a clinic? That's damn good work. It's not much, but it's something, and it's effort well spent.

So. You know who you are that helped and I'm not beyond telling someone good job when they did just that. For what it's worth, got my respect for it.

People seem to be rather grimly assuming that the battle for the Lodge is upon us.

Relationship Note on Rosalie

I can do little else but speak remarkably highly about Lady Rosalie Redtyde and her ability to take burdens off my shoulders. The lady has been terribly kind in doing House Champagne the honour and providing her time in a number of ways, but not least of all in arranging our events, both internal and external. I look forward to all dinners and extravaganzas under her purview.

Relationship Note on Yasmine

Since my lovely companion Yasmine has joined me in tending to some aspects of business, we've seen quite the growth, which in turns means I can expand other areas of interest my family has.

Those who regularly buy from House Champagne have started to see her name more and more on the books, which makes me awfully proud.

It's also because of her the family is never at all seen as dull or drab in the fashion arenas, and her celebrity there is well deserved, for all her years in acting and modeling. Utterly beautiful.
