It has been a very full week. The Crimson Blades ranks continue to fill out. We continue to receive contracts and inquiries. Some of that I attribute to what is happening in the lowers. Murder tends to make people want to protect themselves better. It's grim, but it is true. I only hope that the culprit(s) are caught soon. This week I finally got word that Lord Tobias was at least alive two weeks ago. That should bring relief to a few people, myself included. So I will continue to lead the Blades as he commanded.

Working on stocking the store so I can have a opening, its taken longer then I thought it would.
I find myself growing angry over it and I remind myself it is not worth losing my temper over.

I found a leatherworker finally who can make me a new set of leathers for hunting. It's not so cold down here, and I think I might end up dying from being overly warm in the ones brought from home.
Shopkeeper Oliver also said he's a tailor, so I may bring the items I received from the clothing swap, to see if he can make me some matching pieces to the tunics and leggings that I picked up.
I was never one to care about clothing, but here in the city, I am learning that one wishes to appear nicely dressed for you never know whom you might run into.

Lord Gawain Blanchard is an interesting man. I find myself looking forward to his company, time and time again. He's got a wonderful passion for riding and the care and breeding of horses, which I suppose is only natural. I imagine when I do get myself a proper steed, it will be from the Blanchard stables. Probably one trained by him, too.

I have talked my cousin Lisebet into a good exercise regime. I hope it helps her in the future, running away can sometimes be as useful as standing to fight. I feel personally responsible for the protection of all those within House Farshaw. I wonder if Ryhalt will be up for a 5am jog around the grounds, I will have to talk to him about that.

I've started a small business in trading collector coins, giving people good trades using my personal funds for the particularly unusual or exotic coins they bring to one of the mercantiles I operate. It so far hasn't generated anything of note, and the sale of the coins to other collectors hasn't covered the expenses involves.
If the coins cropping up continue to be unexciting I will discontinue the practice.

A pleasant evening out yesterday, I took time to relax and eat food by the arbor instead of taking my meal indoors. Lady Liliana Harthall approached and looked as beautiful as ever, as did my cousin Lisebet. What man can boast being surrounded by such beauty , I count myself lucky. I am not looking forward to winter one bit but I can sense the change coming sooner than expected. For any reading this, please know that Lady Liliana is raising funds and other provisions for an orphanage, please donate to her good cause.
