Dear journal, I may have talked someone out of their tremendous work ethic and I'm torn about it. On the one hand, it's nice to spend time not working. There's enough disaster in the world that some time off is warranted. Even the most stout adventurers take a little time for themselves at the end of the day. Unfortunately, it might also have messed with her income. That's obviously worse.
I'm willing to risk it. It's not my fortunes and I've already given nods where I can to assisting with hers.
Gods above, she ran roughshod up and down my spine. Next we play darts, I'll make sure to be on Gianna's side.

Relationship Note on Margerie
Lady Margerie has agreed to be my Protege. It seems strange to call her my protege, and that my patronage is largely the fact that she is willing to nicely tell me things like, "Prince Edain, you should not do that. That is stupid."

I'm so happy to keep running into others who wish to help Master Kaine out with his project once they hear about it. There are a few others I need to reach out to, but in the end, I think this will be a great success not only for Master Kaine but the people of the city.

Relationship Note on Alessandro
To continue our discussions that began as a part of my research, Prince Alessandro invited me to visit the Shrine of the Thirteenth with him today. I cannot say that it was an easy visit or a comforting one. It was quite unsettling, yet also entirely intriguing.
I can honestly say that I am grateful he has become my friend through this journey. I am glad that he will be joining our family and I look forward to many future discussions with him.

I can highly recommend Dame Morrighan, Mistress Aurora, and Mistress Petal as far as clothing goes. That is no slight to any others in the city - it is that I am most familiar with their work, which is stunning and inspired beyond measure. Either way, I would welcome the chance to meet Lord Talis! Really, any time Keatons cross my threshold, it is a wonderful day.

Petal and I discussed the possibility of having a competition between princesses to see which house has the best princess. She clearly thinks House Redrain would win, though she became unsure when I introduced the fact that there are baby princesses, which have the clear advantage of being among the cutest princesses.
