The following was sung by Sigismund Ulbran when one too many noble decided to brave the Murder. The man may have had quite a few bottles to drink, though that didn't stop him from dancing on the tables or singing on point:

Step right up!
We bring to you the finest entertainment
And I am pleased to be your humble servant
Accept our hospitality
Indulge in abnormality

Step right up!
We've something here for everyone's enjoyment
I do this as a gift—not for employment
A portrait of insanity
Approached with pure humanity

Come see our silks! Crazy silks!
If you're willing to be thrilled, this is a hell of a ride!
Those silks! Crazy silks!
They're hot! They're nuts! They're suicidal!
Tickets cheap! It's a crime!
And they're half price after four o'clock so toss us a dime
To see these lovely freaks of nature for a limited time!
Come see the silks! Silks! Silks!

Some of them are really quite attractive as you'll see
And some are truly hideous—I'm sure that you'll agree
While others still look rather quite a lot like you and me
But you mustn't let them fool you!
Just one more rule:
You shouldn't look this one too long in the eye
That one, let's just keep walking by
These ain't no ordinary silks, and we've a steady supply
So grab another bottle of beer and follow me!

To see the silks! Crazy silks!
If you're willing to be thrilled, this is a hell of a ride!
Those silks! Crazy silks!
They're hot! They're nuts! They're suicidal!
Tickets cheap! It's a crime!
And they're half price after four o'clock so toss us a dime
To see these lovely freaks of nature for a limited time!
Come see the silks! Silks! Silks!

My mother calls them 'triple anniversaries', but I worry that is misleading; she insists it's the only fitting term for such a situation. Either way:

Happy anniversary. You are a blessing and we love you for always.

What is your favorite word for nonsense?

Balderdash? Poppycock? Humbug? Bamboozlement?

It's a matter I've had reason to consider, in the course of my correspondence.

Perhaps I might start inventing new ones.

Hornswoggle? Who knows. There's no limit to the imagination, nor is there any limit to what men will expect to sell to the Church as fact, apparently.

Farfnoogat?

Relationship Note on Katarina

Okay, I was wrong. When I said that I wasn't sure you were ready for danger, I didn't realize that you could be a definition of the word that danger swirls around.

So in summary, you were right. I was wrong. You are ready for the danger. So ready for the danger.

Dear Child,

You can't force someone to be the person you need them to be.

Sometimes, the person you want the most is the one you're best without.

You have to understand that some things are meant to happen, but just not meant to be.

Some things are meant to come into your life, but not meant to stay.

Don't lose yourself by trying to fix what's meant to stay broken.

You can't get the relationship you need from the person that's not ready to give it to you.

You might not understand why now, but I promise the future will always bring understanding of why things didn't work out. Trust me.

Don't put your happiness on hold for someone that isn't holding onto you.

Some chapters just have to close without closure.

Dear Child,

Never beg for love.

Never beg for someone to be with you. Never beg for attention, commitment, affection, time, or effort.

Never beg for someone to come back or stay.

You should never have to ask to feel wanted. Begging is demeaning and degrading.

If someone doesn't give you those things, with their arms wide open, they aren't worth it.

No one, under any circumstances, is ever worth begging for.

To My Future Child,

I've taken to placing my letters to you in the whites - you never know where things can get lost to... Today, I want to write to you about that broken heart that you will unfortunately, inevitably, experience. I'm so sorry but moving on and getting over someone will be one of the hardest things you will have to do in life.

Especially if it's someone you saw your future with. So, you have to move on the right way. Get your closure from them and tell them everything you ever wanted to tell them. How much you love them, how much you hate them so that you will have no regrets or what ifs.

Then tell them goodbye. Forever. If they let you leave without a fight for you, then they're not worth it anyway. It's going to hurt like hell. Allow yourself to be sad. To be angry. But you have to wake up every day and continue your life without them. It's always easier said than done. So, just let time heal your wounds. This is a time for you to heal and take care of your heart. One day you will wake up and you won't miss them anymore.

Be careful, my precious child. One of the most disappointing things that you can ever go through is to fall in love with a person that can't love and respect you because they can't love and respect themselves.

Relationship Note on Raigner

There is a surprising man newly wandering the city, who seems much like any northern giant at first blush: big enough to be a bear, wears an entire bear, drinks enough whiskey each day to kill a bear. There is, in fact, a theme here. When first I encountered Raigner of Stormwall, shipbuilder and huntsman, he was in the training center and doing what one might expect of a man like him - sizing up opponents. I then encountered him several more times in likely places - bars, mostly. However, I was surprised recently when the man found his way to the party I opened to the public to celebrate my twin sister Neilda's and my birthday. It turns out that Raigner of Stormwall is an artist, not just a shipbuilder. Lord Pasquale had procured from him an intricate and delightful puzzle box which now is in the possession of my sister as her gift. It was quite the talk of the party for a moment until Raigner proved capable of generating worthier buzz. Have you ever watched something carved in real time? It's fascinating. What's more fascinating is the imagination and skill of the artist. Raigner carved a three-or-so-foot-tall statue right there at the party! It was, naturally, a bear standing on, perhaps less naturally, a large turtle's back. That statue is now in the possession of Lady Thea.

I share this with you on the chance that some generations from now, should the story passed at dinner tables be lost to the children who inherit the puzzle and statue, they might know something of the origins of them. And, to shine a light on the hidden talents of one Raigner of Stormwall, shipbuilder and huntsman and artist.

Letter after letter I go through is akin to a subtle fog lifting from my mind; clouds parting across a glowering horizon. I struck Dycard? Gods, how far would I have gone if I did not fall ill. How further would this relationship be strained? The past shall not dictate how I progress this house. In any manner I can. Aedric ails ill now too, if Rom speaks true; I have no reason to doubt him.

But I am a stranger here and it can be evidenced in these letters. Though, they do stop auspiciously around the time the fever struck. When the nightmares began. I must wright a new ship in the port of Blackshore. This sodden, rotted excuse for a galleon--a man--shall not suffice. In the time I have left, I must be there for my lords and ladies. For my house. My family. My sons.

Relationship Note on Gwenna

As proud as I am of my sister Emma and her knights, I'm equally proud of Gwenys promoted to General of Clop Clops Company. I just might have to make a new pennant of bright blue with vivid orange carrot. No, that's too gaudy and not serious. Blue pennants with white dragons and horseshoes, with the flag finial being brightly polished golden carrots.

Onwards, sisters!

To the surprise of some, perhaps many, I am not dead. I know for the past two years it was thought that I was but I am here, not writing as a ghost but as a living person. I am sure there are a flurry of questions, however, I lack any answers to provide to most of them I imagine.

Old friends and family, I do wish to reconnect. I am sure they is much catching up to be had.

So I have a new baby. His name is Jace. He is tiny, somewhat pinkish, and has more hair than his father. Yes, I was my usual swearing self during the labor, which was actually MUCH easier than when I had the twins. So now I have a newborn and my figure is starting to go back to normal. AND I CAN DRINK AGAIN.

So to celebrate, I went to the dirty song sing-along at the Murder of Crows. I sang 'Her Cups Runneth Over' which is about the beauty of all sizes of boobs. It was apparently a hit because most people dig boobs. I certainly know my son is obsessed with them, but it's his only source of food so that's fair.

There is a feel on the air of uncertainty. Please, my dearest ones, let me remind you that there is nothing that can separate us from our Gods. We act in accordance to our faith and to our oaths. We move as one and there is not one that can take us from Limerance's love. We shall remain victorious as we free those that are bound. We shall raise up our voices, our swords, our hearts to that which we are called by the those holy. We shall never be truly divided from the Gods that we follow. When we are chosen by the Gods, who can defeat us? Who is stronger than Limerance in his promises of duty and honor? Who can give hope but the master that creates the concept of it? We are united. We are one. That is how we shall turn the tides that roll against us.

Oh and my darling Wanderers.

Have you not grown weary of being on your own? Have you not missed the embrace of the Compact and the Gods? You are our blood. You are our hearts. You are the very essence of our beating hearts. We miss you. You are so loved. I know you have wandered and I know that you tire. Come home. I ask only that you come to the arms that await you. Limerance, in his compassion, mourns for your turned back upon those that love you. He awaits for you to come home. To return to the flock. For you are still our lamb, brave as you may be. We are still aching if we are not all together. I bid you, should you read this, turn back to us. Come home. Take your rightful place with the people that love you and shall rejoice in your return. Allow us to create new songs of warmth and return.

You are all so very loved. You are all so very wanted. I am in awe every choice that is made on your path and I will pray the path brings you success and in the end the path brings you home.

I ask all of this in Limerance's Devotion.

I do not understand why people speak of 'cheating Death'. Death only gathers our souls when we die, she does not take them from us. If Death wanted to keep our souls she would not return them to the Wheel. Rather, I think, she wants us to live.

A beauty and a quick study, I spent the evening teaching Camilla Baseborn rudimentary skills with a small weapon in the stunning gardens of the new Pravus ward. I would recommend both the company and the location to all.
