Mother Bianca, your festival was a smashing success! I simply had to partake of all the entries!
Though, I may have to restrict myself -- just a touch -- next time. I am still uncertain how I managed to scale that tree, much less sleep in it for an unqualified amount of time. I cannot recall I ever climbed a tree in my life.

I am lucky to have Rosalind to assist me. Even if she refuses to take responsibilities. I know I can always rely on her. She is one of the best sisters that anyone could ever have.

It has been wonderful having my energy back, not always feeling constantly exhausted and like I might just fall over and pass out right were I stand. It's nice getting to run around and play with the dogs like I used to.

Every morning one of my assistants comes to me to inform me of the day's schedule. At the end of the list, she would always inform me that there were threats made on my life and that I needed to be careful. Some of those meetings were about my life being threatened. It is so refreshing not to have those meetings any longer.

Relationship Note on Revell
Gods know I wish I could be as honest and open as is this young maiden whom I met, who loves and professes to speak the language of flowers. It is very likely that she does, as well; with all I've known and seen, such a gift would hardly surprise me.
She's lovely company; so very refreshing to hear someone who thinks nothing of uttering her every thought, who keeps neither secrets from herself nor others.
We are all ourselves, though, as I keep reminding myself. Truths are truths; and concessions must be made.
White Journals, regrettably, cannot bear the weight of all things, of all events and thoughts and words - nor, truly, all feelings; and so, there are Black Journals, places where we hide ourselves, our truths - in some ineffable sense of protection for ourselves and those we love.
I hate them, though. I will write it here and now for all to know: I hate the necessity of writing in a Black Journal.
Perhaps it is a strange thing for a Third Reflection to feel, to write, to give freely; but I loathe the fact that I must keep secrets at all.
And yet, I keep them, will continue keeping them, guilt-ridden both in the keeping and in the desire to reveal.
I'm quite sure that there is nothing worse than being pulled in such a way by two sides of an argument. And yet, it is my task and my way - as Third Reflection to Tehom, a Mirrormask with eternity bouncing back-and-forth within my head.
At least, I can see and revel in the innocence and purity in her.

I seem to be struggling with trying to find someone that is willing to give me lessons in Alchemy and being an Apothecary. I can only hope that I will eventually find a kind person that will be happy to give me lessons.

I am thrilled to see the announcements for A Taste of Arx starting to go up! That should give all the Great Houses and their vassals of each fealty enough time to come up with things to show off and distribute the week that it runs! I absolutely cannot wait to see what they come up with this year and admit to buying out most of the Ferron stock of one of the most recent hairpin runs to act as prizes for all the events I'm setting up for Grayson.

Let it be known that I did enjoy myself at the Good Harvest Feast last night. Southport's wine that Martino submitted tied for 2nd. It's certainly delicious and I feel others would agree. I will have to try Baroness Lucita's as well. While I had to leave to early, it was an enjoyable evening.
