What I wouldn't do to collect such a bounty...ah, but that was then and this is now.
Good luck with this Tournament of Thorns, sounds like you've got some very renowned detractors already which can be a huge obstacle to overcome or just something to be ignored. Which is an option dearie, never forget that. Sometimes it's just not worth your time.

I was opening my bag half-way to my patrol only to find Bird sitting on top of my armor. I'm pretty sure that Muffin knew that Bird was there, but just didn't bother to let me know. All it would have taken is some good barking. That's it.
Of course I didn't take him on patrol with me. I went back home and made sure that Bird STAYED HOME this time.

Who you have lost.
But it rushes back so unexpectedly, and when it does so to me it is so painful it is paralyzing. I cannot grieve the way they do on the Isles, not really. I never could, but I certainly can't when the people I'm mourning are not from here but from home. In the Lyceum we pause to mourn, to weep, and sometimes to rage, or plan revenge. When its pertinent, of course.
Is it now? I can't tell, and I'm not sure I know where to start.

This is a important distinction on the subject because the peers of the realm marry not out of love for eachother, but for their subjects and family. In our blessed realm every man and woman has their place, as much as the servant tends to their liege it is the duty of the liege to care for their servant. It is dictated in our most ancient laws. The nobles carries many burdens in their duties to their people, the King and the Gods and among them is the great sacrifise of their selves. They act not in their own interests but in those of the realm, and so a blessed union between peers is a union of families, not persons. Binding our realm together with oaths that preserve our prosperity and peace.
It is a selfish soul that breaks their sworn promise to their people for the passions of the heart. Those that lead our people shall never do so lightly and the privilegies and duties that come with it should be seen as the burdens that they are. It is, perhaps, something easily forgotten.

Our plans to provide assistance to some of the refugees and freed thralls is moving well. I heard there are schools being built, in various places. I wonder if we should also increase the size of the Ashford school, or build a new one? I shall mention it to the wonderful people helping me on this particular item.
Also, I think this means a trip may be in order in the near future!

And I don't even know how, why, where or what.
It's probably nothing. I mean, how bad can it be? Besides, I'm sure it'll work itself out. It always does, sometimes without me even having to do anything about it. Like that time when I woke up in a gutter and had no pants, but right THEN a really sweet lady walked right on by on her way to visit a sick friend, so she hurried me into her cart and I came along and she got me a pair of linen pants at her friends, and it proved she was looking for a ship to carry some goods into some dangerous waters and paid really well for it, so I lost my pants but made a really good earning on that trade run, I mean, sure, there were dangerous waters and all but all we ran into was a ship of pirates that were all poisoned by some turtle soup they'd eaten a day before, so we ended up helping THEM out and they were so thankful they gave us some of their loot, the loot proved to have been stolen off another vessel off of some down far south and we ran into THEM in the harbor we went to, and they got their items back - for free - but they were so thankful they gave us first dibs on a really good other trade deal BACK to Darkwater Watch.
Also, I did get my pants back when returning to Darkwater Watch, apparently the one that stole them had ended up stumbling as the pants were too long on him, he hit his head on the cobblestones and just died on the spot. My pants still had a letter in them adressed to me, so they found me and gave them back.
So, maybe it's a bit like that.

Notes: This animal shows a willingness to take on almost any challenge put in front of it. While the horse does not excel at combat it was able to keep the noncombatant riders safe 8 times out of 10. The animal seems passive in a combat roll but active and adaptable in almost any condition even on a battlefield, just hesitant to harm or aid in harm. Even though this horse will not be fit to see battle I am going to continue to keep it in the training rotation. It's a real shame this beast doesn't cope with combat it is such a smart cobb.
