It seems Archscholar Py's "Treatise on Truth and Falsehoods" is a must-read lest one wishes to be rather publicly taken to task in the whites. Surely something of such suggested import is available in the archives for anyone to read? I will have to have send someone over to check straight away.

It is good to be back at work again. The time between having artistic inspiration is definitely the darkest of times. It's as if there's no light left in the sky. No warmth in the winter. But the the redhot flame of the muse strikes again and suddenly all makes so much more sense. All is much closer to right again.

I had to go to the masquerade, even though I am told I am ready to give birth at any time. Still, I had to go see, and I am very glad I did. Everyone - whoever they were - was spectacular in their costumes. The designers, tailors and seamstresses did themselves proud.

I am somewhat baffled that anyone would be surprised that the Grandmaster of the Holy Knights of the Temple would opine on Gloria and her wants and desires, her opinion on events, on the demands of the Gods. It is quite literally the job of the Godsworn to guide our people on this, and the Faith are the representatives of the Gods here on Arvum. The Most Holy is the Voice of the Gods. It is perhaps more worrying if disciples of the Faith fail to understand this.

There is a certain amount of discussion in regards to champions, trials by combat, and on the differences between the peerage and the commoner. On that, here is what I will say.
Champions may take up whatever cause they feel is just. There is no shame in asking them, nor in them performing their duty.
I am no expert of law, but I see no reason why in a trial by combat one could not find someone to fight for them. Not all are fit for combat, nor should they be. But they should be allowed to call to Gloria to determine their guilt or innocence.
There should be a level of respect between commoner and Peer. I have seen several instances describing that a commoner should not strike a peer. Indeed. a Peer should also not strike a commoner. Though at times violence does have a habit of breaking out. But if you strike out at someone, perhaps it is best not to rely on the moral principles of your station. It seems you have already taken matters into your own hands.

It is concerning to me that Goodwoman Rinel questions Lord Alessandro Greenmarch's qualifications as a magistrate over something so very pedantic in such a public manner. It is not a stretch to associate the Sentinel with a trial of any sort and it distresses me to see such a contrived attempt to sully the reputation of a man who has dedicated his life to the pursuit of justice.
