The Fashion Show went -incredibly- well, with a few small hiccups at the beginning that were quickly sorted thanks to kind people.
Jayus is the God of art, creativity, and inspiration, among many other things. Crafters honor Him, receive His inspiration and create as they are bidden. We had some marvelous artists showcasing their work this evening, some that hardly ever create outside of the clientele, others who can make beautiful, amazing works of art with materials that aren't as expensive as some.
I am, as ever, truly honored and blessed to be the Guildmaster for the Crafters, they inspire me every day with what they do, some with less than others, some with more experience, others with less experience who still manage to make amazing work. You do me and the city proud, everyone one of you, including those that showed their work tonight.
The models who were generous enough to donate their time and efforts to wear the items... I also cannot thank you enough for your marvelous work today. Some think it's easy to wear something and walk, but to do it with grace, flare, and yes, scandal (I'm talking to you here, Yasmine Rovashani), takes something more, the skill to perform and please with a gesture and a gait.
I look forward to the next show!

I very much enjoyed modeling at the Crafter's Gallery Grand Opening. I make no secret of the fact that I love silks and gowns and jewels and this was a wonderful opportunity to wear some gorgeous pieces.
Goodwoman Lyiana Averdeen is an excellent tailor who made a lovely aeterna and seasilk gown with matching slippers.
Goodwoman Josephine Arcuri made a star iron ring with epiphanite, duskstones, and diamonds. I fear I will never have the chance to wear something so beautiful (and expensive) again.
My cuff and earrings were inspired by Eurasi traditions and made by Guildmaster Joscelin Arterius, whose work I always love.
I managed not to weep when I returned it all for later sale.

My my my. In all the years I've been doing seamstress work, can't say that I've ever had a dissatisfied client, and certainly haven't had anyone make the claim that my work was 'cheap'. First time for everything, I reckon. The insult is noted.
